Pt. Ghosh  is  related  to  the  field  of  music  since  1972  and  had  performed  in  several  esteemed  music  conferences  throughout  the  country  including  Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Tirupati, Aurangabad, Puna, Nagpur, Amravati, Jalgaon, Sangli, Kolhapur, Goa, Ahmedabad, Valsad,  Patna, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Maihar, Jabalpur, Sagar, Dhamtari, Raipur, Bhilai, Jagdalpur, Lucknow, Durgapur, Chittaranjan, Gwahati, Agartala, Shillong, Imphal, Almora, Jallandhar etc .  Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi  invited  him  to  perform  in  their  Music Festival  at  Chennai  and  Jamshedpur.  In 1988, he  had  been  invited  to  parform  in  the  historical  Sarod Festival  organised  by  Ustad Hafiz Ali Khan Memorial Society, Delhi .  All  these  concerts  were  highly  appreciated  by  the  press.

 

He  had  been  also  invited  for  the  chain concert  in  Bhutan  organised  by  Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Govt. of India  in 1988. 

 

His  concert   had  been  featured  number  of  times  in  National Programme of Music  &  Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan  by  All India Radio  and  Television .  

 

He  has  enchanted  music  audience  of  different  countries  including  USA, England, Germany, France, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Bahrain etc  since  1987.  In  2010, he  was  the  first  musician  who  was  invited  to  perform  Surshringar  for  the  first  time  in  a  concert  tour  in  USA .  In  2012, he  was  also  invited  to  perform  Surshringar  at  the  inaugural  concert  in  Darbar Festival  at  South Bank Centre, London  and  also  in  Milapfest  at  Capstan Theatre, Liverpool .
